Request a Free EstimateThe existing bathroom featured a gray-painted builder-grade vanity with a white laminate countertop, chrome fixtures, and a dated diamond-pattern tile tub surround. The beige floor tile and mismatched chrome hardware gave the space a tired, early-2000s feel. The homeowners wanted a clean, modern renovation that would feel cohesive and high-end without changing the overall footprint.
Morgan Remodeling performed a full bathroom gut renovation, beginning with a complete demo of the vanity, tile surround, flooring, and fixtures. The plumbing was roughed in for the new vanity configuration, and the tub was protected and reset in place. The new design introduced a white shaker double vanity with a quartz countertop featuring undermount rectangular sinks, matte black faucets, a large black-framed mirror, and industrial-style vanity lighting. The tub surround was rebuilt with full subway tile floor-to-ceiling on three walls, and a frameless sliding glass door with matte black hardware replaced the old shower curtain. Wood-look porcelain tile flooring was installed throughout, and all hardware — towel bars, toilet paper holder, and fixtures — was updated to matte black for a unified look. The project was planned in advance using 3D SketchUp design renders to confirm the layout and tile selections before construction began.
The finished bathroom is a complete transformation — clean, modern, and cohesive from floor to ceiling. The white subway tile and white shaker cabinetry create a bright, spa-like atmosphere, while the matte black hardware and fixtures add a bold, contemporary contrast. The wood-look tile floor grounds the space with warmth. The homeowners gained a bathroom that feels entirely new, with significantly improved functionality and a design that will remain timeless for years to come.
"The bathroom looks incredible — we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The subway tile and black hardware are exactly what we wanted, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish."
