The Challenge

The existing kitchen featured dated raised-panel white cabinets, dark granite countertops, a diamond-pattern tile backsplash, and a curved island that limited workspace and flow. The homeowners wanted a complete transformation — a brighter, more functional kitchen with a modern aesthetic that would feel cohesive and high-end throughout.

Our Approach

Morgan Remodeling performed a full kitchen gut renovation, removing all existing cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, and the curved island. The new design introduced two-tone shaker cabinetry — white perimeter cabinets paired with a bold navy island — along with quartz countertops throughout, a herringbone white tile backsplash, a stainless wall-mount range hood, and a pair of gold geometric lantern pendants over the island. The island was redesigned with a larger footprint, turned legs, and a full-height quartz waterfall edge for a furniture-quality appearance.

The Result

The finished kitchen is a complete transformation — bright, open, and visually striking. The two-tone cabinet palette creates a focal point at the island while the white perimeter keeps the space feeling airy. Quartz countertops and the herringbone backsplash add texture and refinement, and the gold hardware and pendants tie the design together with warmth. The homeowners gained significantly more counter space, improved workflow, and a kitchen that feels entirely new.
